Advent Calendar door 22

We have reached the point where, as in many homes at this time of year, much baking and cooking of traditional seasonal goodies is in full swing.

Even though my children are in their late teens and early twenties they still enjoy baking cookies, mince pies and veggie sausage rolls with me!  I treasure these times, and always remember when I used to do the same thing with my Darling Mum.  In fact, I will be cooking with her on Christmas Day all being well.

I love this picture of a little family of Christmas folk getting around the table baking together :)

  5. That is such a cute picture. I used to bake about 20 different kinds of cookies and candy every year at Christmas. This year I haven't made a thing. Hubby and I would eat it all and with no children around to help we don't need the extra food! I hope you enjoy every moment of your time home with your children and your Mom.
    Blessings,
    Betsy
