Crochet Blanket Challenge - week 1

Hi everyone.

Well, it was back to earth today, back to work and school for four of us, the eldest two lads don't start back at uni for another week (but they do have lots of coursework to do so its not really a holiday for them).

So I thought I would post my progress for week 1 of the One Square a Week Blanket Challenge.

I started my first Granny Square on January 1st, and, as I was on holiday, have made a grand total of Fourteen!!

Here is a picture of them all together:

I'm really loving these calming, Nordic Winter shades.

Progress will definitely be slower now I am back at work, but if I can make at least one square per week I will be happy as that is the challenge I have set for myself.  And I have made a good start!

Would love to hear if you are joining in the challenge!

Have a great week, Helenxx

  2. Good job on the challenge.. I'm not joining in because I have to finish a blanket for my grandson first. But I like what you've done!

  9. Love those colours, always find it hard to mix them.
Made a blanket last year so just want to do some smaller projects! Keep us updated on your progress?
