Foto Fungi Forage*

You might have been able to go on a Fungi Photo Forage like I did!!

 Lots of very interesting shapes

Crawling around on the forest floor to get these!!

Beautiful polka dot patterns on this Fly Agaric.  All found and photographed in our local outwoods:

The outwoods are really looking beautiful - so atmospheric at this time of the year, I really loved our walk today.  Hope you are keeping lovely and cosy this evening.
* apologies for the spelling, especially as Im an English teacher by day....but I just could not resist it!!

  1. Fabulous fotos of fungi!! It never ceases to amaze me the variety of shapes and sizes that you can find on a trip in the woods and even walking down the'em! x

  2. Wonderful photos Helen!

  3. Lovely photos Helen, missing the woods already, I haven't been enough recently,
    Sue Xxx

  4. I love autumnal woodland walks - it looks like you discovered some marvellous mushrooomy forms! Liz x

  5. Thanks for the photos, Helen. The shapes and colors of nature around us amaze and inspire me. I just finished crocheting a funny little green and orange gourd which one could argue is a useless activity, but somehow it is a way for me to celebrate the beauty I see around me. xx from Gracie

  6. What a perfect outing for Autumn! Thanks for sharing the photos!
    ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  7. I love these shots!!! I am a wood fan too. It is my favourite place to be!x

  8. Perfectly captured - I'm hoping to do the same this weekend too.

  9. I agree - woods in autumn are so atmospheric, just beautiful. I haven't seen much fungi this year yet. I looked in the usual places I see fly agaric and found none this year.

Loved your autumn photos, I will follow your blog - I don't know why I'm not already following, I'm sure I've seen it before! I'm glad you commented on my Matlock post and I came over and had a peek here! I love visiting Matlock at any time too, it's not too far from me.

I love to read your comments!
