...and Welcome 2013!

Happy New Year everyone!

May it be a happy, healthy and prosperous one for you and yours.  And of course may it bring creativity and craftiness in abundance!!

This is a little felt heart I made for my bestest friend Sue - we always spend New Years Eve at her house.

We always enjoy the evening so much - we used to just spend the evening at home watching rubbish on telly, both families have 4 kids so no real scope for going "out on the town"...having said that we never used to do that even before kids as its not really our "thing". So a few years ago we agreed that both families would get together to see in the New Year.  And even though the kids are older now, and not all of them are at home on New Years Eve, we still get together and have fun.  Check out her post from this morning to check what we got up to.   Thanks again for a super evening Sue!  Hope the summer house is still standing this morning....;)

Have a lovely day everyone!

  1. I've never gone out of the town either. We are a boring pair who sit on front of the TV every new years eve, as there isn't much else for us to do! One year I'm going to make an effort and do something fun!!

Happy New Year to you :)

  5. Happy New Year :) What a wonderful evening, and a lovely way to celebrate the end of one year and the start of another with our friends. Thank you so much for the felt heart <3 and peanut brittle, M is steadily making his way through it, I must grab some before it all disappears...
The summer house is still standing :) See you soon,
