Hi everyone
Hope you are all well and looking forward to spring - a few signs of spring happening in the garden here...
Life has been very very chaotic since my return from Granada, hence my absence from blogland. Darling mums illness, work, UCAS applications and uni interviews (super son no.2 has got an offer to do a Media HND next year which is fantastic!), Uni exams (super son no. 1 who is in year one of an Electronic Engineering degree) AS exams (super son. no 3) and GCSE exams (darling daughter) MSc dissertation (me) then I got ill as well... I feel shattered just typing this ;)
So Im going to take a little blogging break for a few weeks - take some time to take stock, spend time with my loved ones, slow down, eat well, pick up hooks and needles again, and get some sleep (hopefully).
My dear crafty currency partner - your scarf is now finished - yay!! - and will be in the post next week.
In the meanwhile, I hope you all have a good few weeks, hopefully I will have lots to share when I get back.
Much love, Helenxx

Granada Grandeur
Hi everyone
Well, Im beginning to surface again...darling mum is much better thankfully and getting back to her usual awesome self.
I finally picked up a pair of knitting needles for the first time in weeks a few days ago.
The sun is shining.
So I thought I would share some precious memories of one of the most beautiful places I have been fortunate enough to visit - Granada in
Al-Andalus, Spain. My darling husband organised our trip to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary.
To say the Alhambra is breathtaking is the silliest understatement ever....
...although it is said that a picture says a thousand words. So I thought I would put a montage of some of the photos I took and put some music to them.
Enjoy!
