Hi everyone - door 9 already: where is this month flying off to?!
Today I thought I would share a photo of vintage ornaments from my Darling Mum's Christmas tree - these are fondly remembered from my childhood.
The Santa on the sleigh and the bell was bought for my brother in the 1950s.. whilst the little girl elf was bought for me in the 1960s. Guess that makes me and bro vintage as well!!
Also - just a quick reminder that my little Festive Giveaway ends tonight - if you would like to have a go at winning please pop over here to enter.
The winner will be announced tomorrow. Good luck!

Helen, I love your vintage ornaments.. you are so lucky to have them still. I have no idea what happened to our family ornaments that my mom had.
ReplyDeleteI am crossing my fingers on your giveaway!

Pretty and treasured little ornaments - and I guess that makes me vintage too! Xx
ReplyDeleteI do love vintage ornaments. I have a tin (must get out!) in the kitchen with mum-in-laws old cake top ornaments and they are boootiful! I normally put them on display on the dresser. Suzy x
ReplyDeleteI'm so dingy, I had to go check and make sure I had entered your giveaway! I had forgotten about that pretty lavender heart, but I remember now, and I did enter. And, yes, the month is flying by!
ReplyDeleteWe've got vintage ornaments too - some years they come out (carefully) depending on who's doing the decorating or not, the eldest one belonged to my husband's grandma when she was a young woman - think it is about 90 years old.
