Advent Calendar day 11

I always love to see this ornament hanging in my Darling Mum's window each year, it was sent to her many years ago by our friends in Germany.

What is the nicest decoration you have ever received as a gift?

  1. Oh so many beautiful decorations that I have were gifts, but the oldest one I have is a 2 inch high nativity that hangs on the tree. It was given to me when I was 5 years old by my Sunday school teacher.

  3. I don't think I've ever been given a decoration as a gift! Perhaps I've been missing out?

  4. That is precious. Can't think of any decorations I've had as a gift. My sister usually makes a patchwork stocking to put the pressies in, which I've kept over the years. Suzy x

  5. That is a beautiful ornament, Helen! The best decoration I ever received was a beaded Christmas tree in a glass dome that actually lights up and has all kinds of fun tiny toys under the tree.. and is a music box, TOO! Have you seen it on my blog in years past? ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  7. Beautiful ornament. My late Mum gave me a tree decoration/gift ten years or so ago. Very special and I wrote about it in December 2012 if you want to see my post. P x
