I have got the afternoon off, although have to go out for a hospital appointment in a while. Its such a cold, wet, dull afternoon so I thought I would share a few pictures of christmas cards etc from the 1960s (when I was a little girl!!) to cheer us all up. All pictures are courtesy of good old Google Images.
First up we have this dream-like picture of a deer in a forest - I remember we used to get several cards in similar designs every year. I love the impressionist quality of this picture
Next something a little more chocolate-boxy, but still on the deer theme
I really like this one too, even though the style is very different.
Yet more deer but in yet another style
And finally, I love this one, really appeals to the ex-graphic designer in me!!
