Hello everyone, hope your weekend is going well!
I promised I would post a few pics of my recent return to knitting via frilly scarf making, so here we go...
This is the first one I have finished:
I really liked the colours and the pom poms!
This is the scarf currently on my needles:
A return to my fave autumnal colours! I'm so loving doing some knitting for a change after a break from it of several years. Does anyone else feel the same at the moment about returning to a craft they haven't had a go at for ages?
And I have a faithful knitting companion who likes to keep his eye on how things are progressing...
Have a great Saturday!

Helen, your scarves look like a lot of fun. Knitting soothes my soul, hopefully your return to knitting will last a long time.

My cats never far away either! She loves my vintage sheets! Ada :)
ReplyDeleteI do feel the same way about returning to an old craft. I have gotten out some of my embroidery that I abandoned when I found crochet several years ago. I still love crochet too. I will forever be addicted to it. XOXO
ReplyDeleteI love the scarves especially the autumnal one, I picked some cross again a little while ago I had forgotten how theraputic it can be x
ReplyDeleteI have sent you an email about our swap x
Thank you, I have just read your email and sent you a reply!
DeleteLovely scarves! You've also made me look for autumn colours when I'm out ... even in Saudi!
ReplyDeleteShukran! :) I was in Jordan during Autumn once and some of the trees were the most spectacular reds and oranges, almost like those I have seen in photos of New England.
DeleteHope everything is going well with the packing!

Such beautiful scarves, I love the colours in both of them, they look most luxurious
ReplyDeleteAnd your cat is exceedingly handsome

Beautiful scarves, Helen! I have not made any like them...yet (: While living in NY we had a cat named Mr. Kitty who looked very much like your cat. One day he took one of my balls of yarn and spread it out in one of our bedrooms. The yarn looked like an agitated spiderweb! Amazing! xx from Gracie
